MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441006681 A) filed by R. V. College Of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Feb. 1, 2024, for 'sanitary pad dispenser device and system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a sanitary pad dispenser (100) comprising a first wall (102) and a second wall (104) coupled by a central frame (108), defining a channel (106) adaptable to accommodate one or more sanitary pads, the central frame (108) extending at its lower end and coupled with a base frame (110) forming a dispensing end, a motor (112) positioned on the lower side of either the first wall (102) or the second wall (104), configured to rotate in clockwise and counterclockwise directions and an sweeper (114) coupled with the shaft of the motor (112), passing through a slot between the lower side of the first wall (102), the lower side of the second wall (104), and the base frame (110), the sweeper (114) rotating to eject the lowest sanitary pad from the channel (106). The present disclosure also relates to a sanitary pad dispenser system (200)."
