MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006996 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'sand transportation assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Hardeep Singh; Dr. Narinder Kumar; and Anuraag Tsewang Namgail.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sand transportation assistive device, comprises of a platform 1 mounted with trailer of a heavy vehicle, a microphone accessed by a user to provide voice commands for levelling of sand within the trailer, a camera 2 for detecting dimensions of the trailer, a holographic projection unit 5 for guiding the user in placing the platform 1 at the trailer via multiple electromagnets 6, plate 4 installed with the platform 1 via a pair of motorized sliders 3 to deploy over trailer's top portion, a telescopically operated link 9 to level the sand via a plate 4 installed with the link, a pair of telescopically operated bars 14 installed with the plate 4 and coupled with a pair of clippers 10 to clasp free end of a sheet 13 wrapped over a roller and lay on the sand to prevent the sand from blowing."
