MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411011288 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'sand sieving device for mortar mixer.'

Inventor(s) include Shreshta Bandhu Rastogi; and Nikita Jain.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sand sieving device for mortar mixer, comprises a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface and installed with a set of C-shaped units 2 via a pair of telescopically operated rods 3, a cylindrical hollow body 4 arranged in the units 2 to be attached with a concrete mixture, a camera 5 mounted on the platform 1 for capturing multiple images of surroundings, at least four motorized omnidirectional wheels 6 configured underneath the platform 1 for positioning the platform 1 in proximity to the mortar mixer, at least four electromagnets 7 configured with the units 2 for adhering the body 4 with the units 2, magnets 8 ranging from 20 to 50 arranged at a first end of the body 4 for adhering the body 4 with the mortar mixture, and a cylindrical hollow member 9 fabricated with sieve 10 embedded within the body 4 for sieving sand."
