MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074744 A) filed by Loramendi, S. Coop., Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, on Aug. 6, for 'sand core making machine.'

Inventor(s) include Fernandez Orive, Luis Alfonso; and Ortega Amestoy, Diego.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a hopper of a sand core making machine, comprising a hollow body (1) with an inner surface (1.0) delimiting a passage for a material used in the manufacture of the sand core. The hopper (100) further comprises a plurality of breaker assemblies (3), each breaker assembly (3) comprising at least one string (3.0) and each end of a string (3.0) being attached to a corresponding attachment point (1.1) of the inner surface (1.0) of the body (1), such that the strings (3.0) are arranged in the passage for the material. Two contiguous breaker assemblies (3) are spaced apart such that said two breaker assemblies (3) interact with each other to break lumps of the material supplied to the hopper (100) when the body (1) is shaken."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 13, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/053636.
