MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514076805 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Aug. 12, 2025, for 'saddle riding vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Shogo Nishida.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "To suppress degradation of a wiring caused by directly receiving heat of an exhaust pipe. [Solution] A saddle riding vehicle (10) includes: a vehicle 10 body frame (11); an engine (12) that is supported by the vehicle body frame (11); an exhaust pipe (25a) that is connected with the engine (12) and extends rearward; an exhaust gas sensor (85) that is mounted on the exhaust pipe (25a); and a wiring (86) that extends from the 15 exhaust gas sensor (85). The vehicle body frame (11) includes an extending frame portion (34) that extends along the exhaust pipe (25a), a resin guide member (90) that extends along the extending frame portion (34) and guides the wiring (86) so as to be along the extending 20 frame portion (34) is mounted on the vehicle body frame (11), and the resin guide member (90) is disposed on a side opposite to the exhaust pipe (25a) with the extending frame portion (34) sandwiched therebetween."
