MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514079349 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Aug. 21, 2025, for 'saddle-ride vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Fumiya Isono; and Sotaro Sawamura.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "To provide a saddle-ride vehicle that has a compact cover shape in a vehicle body side view and easily allows a throttle body cover to have a plurality of functions while facilitating assembling work. In a saddle-ride vehicle including a vehicle body frame (11), an engine (12), a throttle body (56), side covers (60 and 70), and a throttle body cover (80), a main frame (31) is provided with throttle body cover stays (90 and 96), the side covers (60 and 70) have outer covers (66 and 76) and inner covers (61 and 71), the inner covers (61 and 71) include extending portions (63 and 73), and the throttle body cover (80) includes a front portion inserted into the throttle body cover stays (90 and 96) and a rear portion fastened to the extending portions (63 and 73)."
