MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073444 A) filed by Novavax, Inc., Gaithersburg, U.S.A., on Aug. 1, for 'rsv f vaccine formulations.'

Inventor(s) include Tian, Jing-Hui; Patel, Nita; and Glenn, Gregory.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein are RSV F glycoproteins and nanoparticles comprising the same, which are suitable for use in vaccines. The nanoparticles present antigens from pathogens surrounded to and associated with a detergent core resulting in enhanced stability and good immunogenicity. Dosages, formulations, and methods for preparing the vaccines and nanoparticles are also disclosed."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 05, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/014509.
