MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097984 A) filed by Daikin Industries, Ltd., Osaka, Japan, on Oct. 10, for 'rotor, motor, compressor including motor, and refrigeration device.'
Inventor(s) include Matsuda Naoya; Hirano Masaki; Hibino Hiroshi; and Naka Shojiro.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rotor (3) of a motor is provided with a rotor core (15) having a housing part (20), and a magnet (40) disposed in the housing part (20). The rotor core (15) has a notch (30) on the outer peripheral surface (3A) of the rotor core (15). The housing part (20) has a first end surface (21) that faces a first magnetic pole surface (S1) of the magnetic pole surface (S) of the magnet (40) on the side facing the magnetic pole of the rotor (3) and forms a curve having no straight lines or inflection points. In the housing part (20), the width of a portion including the first end surface (21) in the first direction (D1) is defined as a first width (W1). In the housing part (20), the width in the first direction (D1) of a portion that includes a connection surface (21A) that faces the first magnetic pole surface (S1), is connected to the first end surface (21), and is closer to the outer peripheral surface (3A) of the rotor core (15) than the first end surface (21), is defined as a second width (W2). The second width (W2) is smaller than the first width (W1)."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/010755.
