MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514089053 A) filed by Toyo Denso Kabushiki Kaisha, Tokyo, on Sept. 18, 2025, for 'rotation angle detection device.'
Inventor(s) include Shoji Kishi; Toshiya Yoshida; Toshikazu Murata; and Yoshihiko Koibuchi.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rotation angle detection device of the present disclosure includes: a throttle grip rotatable about a shaft of a handlebar; a detection unit configured to detect a rotation angle in one rotational direction of the throttle grip; an elastic member configured to, when the throttle grip rotates in the one rotational direction by being operated by an operator, bias in such a manner that the throttle grip rotates in other rotational direction; and a slid member configured to slide with the elastic member in accordance with rotational operation in the one rotational direction of the throttle grip."
