MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517099229 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Oct. 14, for 'rotating electrical machine.'
Inventor(s) include Shirasuna Takamori; Kawano Masato; and Mito Katsunori.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rotating electrical machine (1) comprises: a rotor (2), which has a rotating shaft (21) that extends in the axial direction (Da), and a rotor core (22) that rotates integrally with the rotating shaft (21); and a stator (3A, 3B, 3C, 3C', 3D, 3E, 3F), which has a stator core (31) that is disposed spaced apart from the rotor (2) in the radial direction (Dr) of the rotor (2). The stator core (31) extends towards the rotor (2) in the radial direction (Dr), and is provided with a flange part (50A, 50B, 50C, 50C', 50D, 50E, 50F) which is disposed spaced apart from at least a portion of the rotor core (22) in the axial direction (Da)."
