MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202637026432 A) filed by Shanghai Highly Electrical Appliances Co. Ltd. Shanghai, on March 6, for 'rotary compressor.'
Inventor(s) include Xu, Zichan; Yang, Yaomin; Yang, Yanqiu; and Pan, Fei.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rotary compressor, comprising: a housing; an electric motor, a cylinder and a crankshaft, which are accommodated within the housing, wherein the cylinder is provided with a gas discharge port (7), a vane slot, and a vane, and the crankshaft transmits a rotational force of the electric motor to a piston, causing the piston to rotate within the cylinder to compress a refrigerant; and a gas injection line (6) connected to a compression chamber. In the cross-section perpendicular to the rotational axis of the electric motor, a first projection point of the center of the gas discharge port (7) on the cross-section forms a first connecting line together with a second projection point of the rotational axis of the electric motor on the cross-section, and a third projection point of the center of a gas injection port (62) of the gas injection line (6) on the cross-section forms a second connecting line together with the second projection point; an included angle ? is formed between the first connecting line and the second connecting line, the value range of ? being 11=?=100. The rotary compressor can maintain a substantially constant gas injection volume under different operating conditions, while improving the compressor operating capacity, thereby ensuring both the energy efficiency of the compressor and the adaptability to different operating conditions."
