According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A root canal cleaning and filling device comprising a handheld body 101 configured to be grasped by a dentist, the body 101 including an extendable rotary cleaning file 102 insertable into a tooth canal, an optical sensor and operatively to function in synchronization with an infrared depth sensor to detect positional depth of the canal relative to the cleaning file 102, a bio-impedance sensor configured to measure electrical resistance of canal walls to assess tissue condition, a cleaning fluid chamber 103 disposed within the body 101 and for dispensing cleaning fluid through a channel associated with the cleaning file 102, a filler material container 105 disposed within the body 101 and connected to a secondary miniature pump 106 for delivering filler material through a cylindrical tube positioned at a distal tip portion of the body 101 into the cleaned canal."
