According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A roof trough maintenance device, comprises of a base platform 101 equipped with motorized omnidirectional wheels 102 via extendable rods 103, configured to provide smooth movement across a surface, a navigation GPS unit integrated with the base platform 101 detected roof boundaries and designated cleaning zones, a support plate 104 mounted on the base platform 101 via a scissor lift unit 105 to support cleaning and monitoring tools at adjustable heights, a cleaning module attached to the support plate 104 to remove debris including leaves, dust, twigs and blockages from the roof trough, a disinfectant spraying module is integrated with the support plate 104 to spray disinfecting liquid onto the roof trough to prevent odor and fungal growth, an AI (artificial intelligence) enabled camera 110 to monitor the accumulated debris on the roof trough and a speaker 114 to emit audio alerts and operational notifications for a user."
