MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024073 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'roof expansion jointing device.'

Inventor(s) include Danish Meiraj; and Ashish Jain.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A roof expansion jointing device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a roof surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on the body 1 to evaluate a 3D (three-dimensional) mapping of the surrounding which is displayed over a touch interactive display panel 3 mapped on the body 1, a L-shaped telescopically operated link 4 installed with the body 1 for positioning a U-shaped plate 5 attached with the rod over the gap, a speaker 6 mounted on the body 1 for notifying the user and plurality of motorized pop-out balls 7 arranged on outer sides of the plate 5 to provide movement to the plate 5 in a linear direction along the gap in view of performing roof jointing on entire gap of the roof."
