MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017996 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'rolling welding device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rolling welding device comprising of telescopic member 101 having inverted U-shaped rod 102 installed at top portion of member 101 for enabling user to acquire grip on member 101, cushioned layer provided on rod for comfort of user, electrically conductive roller 103 disposed bottom of member 101 by ball and socket joint 104 for welding metallic sheet, electrical energy provided to roller 103 from battery installed on member 101, blower 105 configured on member 101 for removal of moisture from sheet and surface, moisture sensor provided on rod detects moisture level of surface to actuate blower 105, nozzle 106 attached with rod connected with vacuum unit 107 for suction of dust from surface, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 108 in synchronization with ultrasonic sensor embedded in rod installed on rod and integrated with processor for recording and processing images in vicinity of rod to determine thickness and position of sheet."
