MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023121 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'roll over heavy vehicle ascending assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A roll over heavy vehicle ascending assistive device, comprising a pair of elongated bodies 1 developed to be installed at base portion of a carrier of a heavy vehicle rolled over a ground surface, a pair of C-shaped motorized expandable clamps 2 installed with each of the bodies 1 to expand in view of securing the bodies 1 with base of the carrier, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 mounted on the bodies 1 for detecting ascending of the vehicle by an external means, an inflatable member 4 configured with the bodies 1 to prevent sudden impact on the carrier upon ascending of the carrier and a plate 5 installed with each of the bodies 1 via a scissor lift arrangement to extend for positioning the plate 5 in contact with the ground surface to gradually retract for preventing jerk to the carrier."
