MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517091964 A) filed by Softbank Group Corp., Tokyo, on Sept. 25, for 'robot control system, robot, and robot control program.'

Inventor(s) include Son, Masayoshi.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This robot control system: is removably attachable to a wrist section of an arm part which operates in three dimensions; mounts a tool in accordance with a type of work with respect to an object; and causes the work to be executed on the object. The robot control system includes: a determination unit that determines the type of work with respect to the object; and a control unit that controls actions for mounting the tool which corresponds to the type of work determined by the determination unit, and that controls actions which are in accordance with the type of work."
