MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414065473 A) filed by Janome Corporation, Tokyo, on Aug. 30, 2024, for 'robot.'
Inventor(s) include Kogure, Taichi; and Onozuka, Shun.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "To provide a desktop robot capable of reducing the amount of protrusion of a connector shell of a cable of an operation device with the connector shell connected to the main body. A desktop robot 1 includes: a recess 11 recessed in a main body 2 toward an inside and provided with a connector 12 connectable to an operation device for operating a tool on the main body 2. A distance from an end of the main body 2 to the connector 12 is longer than or equal to a length of the connector shell of the cable of the operation device in the recess 11."
