According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A road infrastructure monitoring system, comprises of a hybrid sensor array 101 for three dimensional (3D) road mapping, an adaptive sensor fusion protocol 102 for adjusting relative weight of sensory data in real time based on conditions like water depth, surface reflectivity, and ambient lighting on the road surface, an abnormality identity module 103 to assign a unique identity to each detected road abnormality, a crowdsourced abnormality database 104 to store anonymised incident data from vehicles, a dynamic risk index (DRI) generation module 105 to generate risk index for each abnormality based on severity, vehicle type, traversal speed, and encounter frequency, an interactive dashboard 106 to show clusters of abnormalities, trends across time, and suggestions for predictive maintenance, and a driver alert module 107 to communicate real-time notifications to drivers about abnormalities in vicinity."
