MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025435 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'road fence maintenance device.'
Inventor(s) include Harbinder Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A road fence maintenance device, comprising a housing 1 positioned in proximity to a road fence and installed with a first circular disc 10 via a telescopically operated link 2, a second circular disc 3 installed with the housing 1 via an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 4, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 for detecting length of the road fence, plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 7 for maneuvering the housing 1 along the road fence, an electronic nozzle 8 for dispensing the cleaning solution on the road fence, an electronic valve 9 for removing the corrosion."
