MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025445 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'road course demolishing assistive device for construction of new roads.'
Inventor(s) include Shailendra Singh Rajput.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A road course demolishing assistive device comprises a cuboidal body 1 configured with a pair of track wheels 2 for providing movement to the body, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on the body evaluates a 3D (three-dimension) mapping of the surroundings as well as determine dimensions of surface course of the road, a touch interactive display panel 4 mapped on the body for displaying the evaluated mapping, a pair of inverted L-shaped bars 5 arranged on the body positioning a levelling arrangement 6 attached with the bars, a LiDAR sensor is installed on the body for detecting dimensions including length and width of the road course, a hydraulically operated plunger installed on apex portion of each of the vertically oriented link rods, and a tactile sensor is embedded within the rods to monitor hardness of the road course."
