MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311083431 A) filed by Indian Council Of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, on Dec. 7, 2023, for 'rna-guided recombinase (rgr) platforms.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sonwane Arvind Asaram; Dr. Bina Mishra; Dr. C. L. Patel; Dr. Anuj Chauhan; Dr. Subodh Kumar; Dr. Praveen K. Gupta; Dr. Mohini Saini; Dr. B. P. Mishra; and Dr. R. K. Singh.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A RNA-guided recombinase (RGR) platform comprising a fusion of nuclease-null or dead Cas9 (dCas9) and 'hyperactivated' recombinase mutant of small serine recombinases represented by the following architecture: Csy4-T2A peptide-Nuclear localization signal- 'hyperactivated' recombinase-Linker peptide-dCas9-Nuclear localization signal-3x Flag."
