MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006919 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 1, 2024, for 'ring shape restoration device.'
Inventor(s) include Aishna Mahajan; Satish Kumar; Shivansh; and Shrestha Pratap Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A ring shape restoration device, comprises of a platform 1 positioned on a fixed surface and installed with a set of plates 3 each having a tapered end and arranged to form a conical structure, multiple suction cups 2 for adhering the platform 1 on a fixed surface in a secured manner, multiple grooves 4 for accommodating rings of different sizes, a touch-enabled screen 5 that is accessed by a user to input commands for restoring the shape of the ring, a camera 6 for capturing multiple images of ring, a telescopically operated bar 7 for extending and tilt set of plates 3 away from each other, a set of hinges for tilting the set of plates 3, a robotic arm 8 attached with a motorized scrubbing unit 9 for scrubbing the ring and shine the ring, and a speaker 10 for notifying the user to clean the ring."
