MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012929 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'rice balls preparation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rice balls preparation device comprises an elongated body 1 attached with a handle 2 developed to be gripped by a user, plurality of semi-circular members 3 for filling rice, a touch enabled screen 4 enables the user to input commands, a pair of hemispherical units 5 for allowing the user to fill rice within the semi-circular members 3, an electromagnetic spring 6 for allowing the user to fill rice within the hemispherical units 5, a camera 7 to detect the presence of rice in the members 3, a moisture sensor detects the moisture level of the rice plurality of iris pores 8 for dispensing edible oil in the members 3 to moisten the rice, a chamber 9 stored with edible oil, a temperature sensor detects the temperature of the rice balls and a speaker 10 for notifying the user to pick out the prepared rice balls."
