According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention proposes an RFID-enabled vehicle monitoring system with an anti-theft mechanism and accident alert system using embedded systems, sensors, GPS tracking, GSM communication, and IoT-based monitoring. The system integrates RFID authentication, password verification, vibration-based theft detection, collision and accident detection sensors, and a microcontroller-based vehicle control unit to provide enhanced vehicle security and safety. The RFID module and keypad authentication system ensure that only authorized users can access and operate the vehicle. The vibration sensor detects tampering or theft attempts, while collision detection sensors detect accident or crash conditions. When a theft attempt or accident is detected, the system sends automated alert notifications to the registered user through the GSM module and updates vehicle status through the IoT monitoring platform for real-time remote monitoring. The system also includes an LCD display and buzzer alert system for status indication and warning alerts. The invention provides a cost-effective, reliable, and scalable smart vehicle security, monitoring, accident detection, and alert communication system suitable for intelligent transportation and vehicle safety applications."
