Inventor(s) include Dr. Arunkumar Chandrasekhar; Kabir Lakhadive; Anshula Das; and Hardik Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an RFID-based electronic voting system including a voter authentication module having a first microcontroller unit operatively connected to an RFID reader configured to read voter identification data from RFID cards, and a vote casting module having a second microcontroller unit operatively connected to an NFC reader configured to detect vote selection tokens. The voter authentication module and the vote casting module are physically and logically separated. An enable signal communication pathway between the first microcontroller unit and the second microcontroller unit transmits activation signals without conveying voter identification information. The vote casting module records vote data without receiving voter identification information from the voter authentication module."
