MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090209 A) filed by Bericap Holding Gmbh, Budenheim, Germany, on Sept. 20, for 'resource-saving closure device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a closure device (1) for selectively closing or releasing a pouring opening of a container. The closure device comprises a closure cap (2), and the closure cap has a cap cover plate (4) and a cap casing (3) which adjoins the cap cover plate circumferentially. The cap casing extends cylindrically or conically about the closure cap axis (50) at least in some sections, and the closure cap has first guide means (5), said first guide means being formed and arranged such that the first guide means can be brought into engagement with a guide means of a container in order to close the opening of the container. The cap casing has an outer surface which faces away from the closure cap axis and an inner surface which faces the closure cap axis, and the first guide means is arranged on the inner surface of the cap casing. The inner surface (7) of the cap casing (3) has a plurality of depressions (8), and/or the cap casing (3) has a reinforcement section (17)."
