MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547088131 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Sept. 16, for 'reporting of configured grant occasions.'
Inventor(s) include Gapeyenko, Margarita; Li, Zexian; Paris, Stefano; Wu, Chunli; and Kaikkonen, Jorma Johannes.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Various example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to reporting of configured grant (CG) occasions. A terminal device obtains information on a criterion for reporting whether at least one CG occasion is to be used by the terminal device. Based on determining that the criterion is satisfied, the terminal device sends, to a network device, an indication of whether the at least one CG occasion is to be used by the terminal device. The solution for reporting CG occasions as provided in the example embodiments of the present disclosure can ensure that the indication of unused CG resources can be re-used by network, and can ensure that the resources are not re-used and UE can change the indication from cancelled to active."
