Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Rendering Of Reverberation In Connected Spaces' Filed by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (PUBL)

MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517031097 A) filed by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (PUBL), Stockholm, on March 29, for 'rendering of reverberation in connected spaces.'

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method (400) performed by an audio renderer (151) for rendering reverberation in a second space (302) connected to a first space (301) via a portal (300). The method includes obtaining information indicating a size of the portal. The method also includes using the information indicating the size of the portal, determining a scaling factor. The method also includes rendering a first set of one or more reverberation signals in the second space (302) using the scaling factor."
