MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056701 A) filed by The Chemours Company FC, Llc, Wilmington, U.S.A., on June 12, for 'refrigerant composition comprising e-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, hydro(chloro)fluorocarbon and lubricant, and refrigeration, air-conditioning or heat pump systems using the composition.'
Inventor(s) include Peng, Sheng; Nappa, Mario Joseph; and Simoni, Luke David.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A refrigerant composition comprising E-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, a hydro(chloro)fluorocarbon selected from 1,1,3,3-tetrafluoro-2-propene, 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane, trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, and mixtures thereof, and a lubricant selected from polyol esters and polyalkylene glycols, wherein the hydro(chloro)fluorocarbon is present in the composition in a total amount of up to 1.0 wt.%, based on the total weight of the E-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene and the hydro(chloro)fluorocarbon."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 28, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/081363.
