MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517055616 A) filed by Tmeic Corporation, Tokyo, on June 9, for 'reduction leveling control apparatus of finishing mill.'
Inventor(s) include Ueno, Satoshi.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This finishing-rolling mill roll balancing device is provided with a roll-balancing adjuster that before the leading end of rolled material wraps onto the coiler, adjusts respective rolling devices on the working end and driving end of the final mill stand to reduce asymmetrical flatness defects measured by a flatness gauge and eccentricity measured by an eccentricity gauge, and that after the leading end has wrapped onto the coiler, adjusts the rolling devices on the working end and driving end of the final mill stand to reduce wedges measured by a sheet-profile gauge."
