MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517089361 A) filed by Instraction Gmbh, Heidelberg, Germany, on Sept. 19, for 'recovery of pt-group metals from aqueous-organic solution.'

Inventor(s) include Welter, Martin; and Meyer, Christian.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a method for the isolation and recovery of a Pt-group metal, preferably palladium, from a waste solution which comes from a catalyst process of an industrial method. The Pt-group metal is present in an aqueous-organic solution. Catalyst remnants and further potentially disruptive, in some cases complexing components are to be mentioned as accompanying substances."
