MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117921 A) filed by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 27, 2025, for 'reciprocating cleaning device for printed circuit boards.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Saroj Kushwah; Mr. Vishal Choudhary; Moli Jain; and Dr. Ayushi Prakash.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cleaner system (100) for removal of debris from printed circuit boards is disclosed. The cleaner system (100) comprises a housing (102) containing a spring drive unit (104). A brush assembly (106) is mounted on a carriage (108) guided along the housing (102). A transmission (110) is operatively connected between the spring drive unit (104) and the carriage (108). A winding interface (112) is adapted to preload the spring drive unit (104). Reciprocation of the carriage (108) along a travel path is driven by the transmission (110) using energy stored in the spring drive unit (104) to displace debris toward a discharge region (114). The cleaner system (100) enables mechanical cleaning of printed circuit boards without electrical power while maintaining consistent removal of particulate matter in a controlled and repeatable manner suitable for assembly and maintenance operations."
