According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses Recipe Rover, an AI-enabled full-stack web application that provides personalized recipe recommendations, nutritional insights, and food waste reduction solutions. The system utilizes a machine learning model that combines TF-IDF-based ingredient vectorization with nutritional feature scaling and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) similarity matching to generate recipe suggestions based on user-provided ingredients, dietary preferences, and health goals. The platform integrates secure user authentication, enabling each user to maintain a unique profile containing saved recipes, dietary constraints, and interaction history for improved personalization and continuity. In addition to recipe generation, the system offers real-time cooking assistance through stepwise guidance, voice-enabled interaction, and community-based support. A dedicated food waste management module allows users to track surplus food and connect with nearby NGOs or food donation services to distribute excess cooked meals, thereby promoting sustainability. Unlike conventional recipe or cooking apps, Recipe Rover functions as a unified intelligent ecosystem that combines meal planning, nutrition awareness, community interaction, and food redistribution within a scalable and interactive web platform."
