MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064728 A) filed by Arcelormittal, Luxembourg, on July 7, for 'rear structure for an automotive vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Donya, Gilson.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Rear structure (1) for an automotive vehicle (200) having a fuel tank (500) below the passenger seats and a powertrain (300) in the back, comprising a lower structure (11) and an upper structure (12), such that the lower and upper structure form together a closed hollow volume (10) at least along the area where the fuel tank is located and wherein said upper structure (12) is manufactured from one single metal blank."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 22, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/050575.
