MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641017282 A) filed by River Mobility Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Feb. 16, for 'rear body protector for a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure generally relates to vehicle safety accessories, and more particularly relates to a rear body protector (100) for vehicle. Further, the rear body protector (100) for vehicle may be configured to extend along rear portion of vehicle to shield functional components disposed proximal rear portion of the vehicle. Further, rear protective member (102) may include proximal end and distal end. The proximal end includes U-shaped structure. Furthermore, distal end includes tubular structures extending from U-shaped structure. Additionally, rear body protector (100) may include mounting brackets (104). The mounting brackets (104) which may be coupled between distal end (102A) and proximal end (102B) of the rear protective member (102). Further, rear body protector (100) may include clamp assembly (106). The clamp assembly (106) may include releasably couple pre-defined shape of rear protective member (102) to load bearing component (1202). Further, rear body protector (100) may include tube holder (408)."
