MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102905 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 25, 2025, for 'real-time training support system for competitive aerobics.'

Inventor(s) include Manish Kumar; Dr. Pavitar Parkash Singh; Dr. Gaurav Sethi; and Dr. Suresh Kumar.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A real-time training support system for competitive aerobics, comprising multiple sensors 101 configured to collect motion and physiological data from an athlete during training, a data transmission module 102 configured to transmit collected sensor data using Wi-Fi communication means with edge preprocessing to reduce latency, a processing module 103 employing a hybrid neural network combining convolutional neural network (CNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM) network to recognize athlete actions and evaluate training status in real-time, a personalized training plan generator 104 configured to adapt training recommendations based on reinforcement learning using the evaluated training data, a feedback interface configured to provide real-time visual decision support to the athlete and coach to improve performance and training effectiveness."
