Pravallika; Mr. Allamaprabhu; and Dr. Prakash Kumar Sarangi, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Dec. 8, 2025, for 'real-time cognitive ai framework for cyber threat detection and mitigation in networks.'
Inventor(s) include Koti Tejasvi; Saroja Kumar Rout; Dr. Swati Sucharita; Shaista Farhat; Sumaiya Shaikh; S Uma Maheswari; Bijaya Kumar Sethi; B. Pravallika; Mr. Allamaprabhu; and Dr. Prakash Kumar Sarangi.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a real-time cognitive artificial intelligence framework for cyber threat detection and mitigation in network environments. The framework integrates multi-source telemetry ingestion, normalization, and feature extraction with dynamic behavioural modelling, cognitive inference, and predictive analytics to detect known and unknown threats with high accuracy. A cognitive reasoning engine correlates anomalies, policy violations, and threat intelligence to construct evidence graphs and compute contextual threat scores, attack classifications, and potential adversarial intent. A predictive module forecasts threat progression and lateral movement, while an autonomous mitigation controller executes real-time response actions including device isolation, access revocation, and network rule adjustments. A continuous feedback and model management subsystem refines baselines, retrains models, and ensures adaptive security across enterprise, cloud, and IoT environments."
