MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617014435 A) filed by Bambou, Terrasson-Lavilledieu, France, on Feb. 10, for 'ready-to-use covering elements.'

Inventor(s) include Dufour, Cedric.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a ready-to-use covering element (1) intended to be placed at the edge of a roof at the end of a row (6) of covering elements (1) and to be positioned in an orientation (10) defined by a hip (4) or a valley and the eaves (5) of an adjacent roof. According to the invention, the covering element (1) has a predetermined initial shape and has, in this initial shape, at least one cut and/or one precut forming an angle (2) with an edge of the initial shape, the angle being determined by the position of the row (6) and by the orientation (10)."

The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 09, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/072554.
