According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a nutritionally balanced composition comprising processed makhana in forms such as popped, whole, or powdered and millet flour including foxtail, kodo, or little millet. The composition is formulated to support menstrual health and general wellness. The composition optionally contains plant-based functional additives; and at least one nutraceutically acceptable excipient. These excipients may include natural sweeteners such as jaggery or honey, and flavouring agents like cocoa powder, dried berries, or cinnamon. The present invention also provides a method for producing said composition ensuring nutritional efficacy and consumer acceptability."
