MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647036363 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on March 25, for 'reader device and method of reading.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "There is provided a controller comprising means for: configuring an activator device for activating each pair of tags in a group of tags in a phase sweep sequence; configuring a reader device for receiving signals from each pair of tags in the group of tags in the phase sweep sequence; receiving, from the reader device, information indicating a power level of a combined signal received by the reader device for each of the pairs of tags in the phase sweep sequence; and based on the information indicating the power level, determining an order of the tags in the group of tags."
