According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a rain protection system for an outdoor stadium, comprising an inflatable rain protection screen arranged circumferentially around a playing ground and operatively connected to a plurality of motor-driven steel ropes. The rain protection screen is filled with a lightweight gas lighter than air to assist lifting. Peripheral and top-mounted motor assemblies synchronously wind and unwind steel ropes to lift and position the screen above a spectator sun shade, wherein an overlapping rain protection sheet ensures smooth drainage of rainwater. without leakage: The system further includes locking mechanisms, worm and pinion gear assemblies, pneumatic unlocking means, and support structures, enabling controlled deployment and retraction of the rain protection screen."
