MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064697 A) filed by Nec Corporation, Tokyo, on July 7, for 'radio station, core network node, radio terminal, and methods.'

Inventor(s) include Tamura Toshiyuki; Tiwari Kundan; Ianev Iskren; and Kaliyammal Thiruvasagam Prabhu.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An aspect of this disclosure includes a radio station. The radio station sends, to a first core network node in a first network, a set up request message including information for al list of connected network. The radio station receives, from the first core network node, a set up response message including at least one of information for a list of roaming networks and information for priority order for the roaming networks. The radio station detects a failure of connection between the first core network node or another core network node in the first network. The radio station sends, to a radio terminal, at least one of information related to disaster condition for the first network, information for the first network, information for the list of roaming networks and the information for priority order for the roaming networks."
