MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517043401 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on May 5, for 'radio access network (ran) enhancements for uplink protocol data unit (pdu) sets.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method for wireless communication by a first wireless communication device includes receiving, from a second wireless communication device, a latency report indicating a first latency value associated with a first uplink packet of a first set of uplink packets associated with a medium access control (MAC) transport block (TB), a second latency value associated with a second uplink packet of the first set of uplink packets, and a number of uplink packets lost in the first set of uplink packets. The method also includes adjusting a configuration of a second set of uplink packets in accordance with receiving the latency report. The method further includes transmitting the second set of uplink packets in accordance with adjusting the configuration."
