MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517021899 A) filed by Innotec Corp., Zeeland, U.S.A., on March 11, for 'radar transparent construction for illuminated symbols.'
Inventor(s) include Veenstra Thomas J.; and Elenbaas Michael G.
The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A multi layer radome with an illuminated symbol. The multi layer radome can include an overmolded applique a light assembly and a waveguide. The waveguide can be located between the light assembly and the overmolded applique. The waveguide can be configured to transmit light from the light assembly to the overmolded applique. The light from the light assembly can light up the overmolded applique resulting in an illuminated symbol. The multi layer radome can utilize a two layer construction."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 10, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/034796.
