MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073043 A) filed by Panasonic Intellectual Property Corporation Of America, Torrance, U.S.A., on July 31, for 'ra-rnti calculation for multi-prach transmissions.'
Inventor(s) include Tran, Xuan Tuong; Suzuki, Hidetoshi; Kang, Yang; and Ogawa, Yoshihiko.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides communication apparatuses and communication methods for random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI) calculation for multi-physical Random Access Channel (multi- PRACH) transmissions. The communication apparatuses include a communication apparatus comprising: a transmitter, which in operation, transmits a preamble in at least one of a plurality of Random Access Channel occasions (ROs) of a first RO group; and a receiver, which in operation, receives downlink control information (DCI) with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by one or more random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI) candidates, the one or more RA-RNTI candidates being determined based on at least one of the plurality of ROs."
