MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541111220 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, on Nov. 14, 2025, for 'quick release magnetic mount for advertisement mannequins on mobile display base.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. S. Shasi Anand; and Dr. P. Jayakumar.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a quick-release magnetic mount for advertisement mannequins on a mobile display base comprising a base platform (1) with wheels (2), a ferrous metal base (6), magnetic foot pad clamp (7), waist metal support (8), magnetic waist clamp (9), clamp magnetizing switches (10), vertical holding arms (11), control interface (12), and power supply unit (13). The system allows detachable magnetic coupling between a mannequin (3) and the base platform (1) without using mechanical fasteners. The foot placing cavity (4) and foot mold (5) ensure proper alignment for magnetic engagement. The magnetic clamps are operated through the control interface (12) for secure holding and quick release. The wheeled base allows smooth movement during display repositioning. The design ensures stability, safety, and ease of operation in commercial display environments."
