MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537088066 A) filed by Sms Group Gmbh, Monchengladbach, Germany, on Sept. 16, for 'quick-action coupling device, induction heating device, production line and method for servicing an induction heating device of this kind.'
Inventor(s) include Stolbchenko, Mykhailo; Lenz, Wolfgang; Daube, Thomas; Peters, Matthias; Seidel, Ralf; Langejurgen, Markus; and Dawidowicz, Michael.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a quick-action coupling device (10) for an induction heating device (40) for heating metal workpieces, the quick-action coupling device (10) having a first coupling half (20) and a second coupling half (30), which corresponds to the first coupling half (20). The quick-action coupling device (10) is movable between an open position and a closed position by way of a relative movement between the first coupling half (20) and the second coupling half (30), a first electrical main connecting means (22) being electrically conductively connected to a second electrical main connecting means (32) in the closed position of the quick-action coupling device (10), so that a current with a current intensity of greater than or equal to 1000 amperes is transmittable by means of the first electrical main connecting means (22) and the second electrical main connecting means (32) in the closed position of the quick-action coupling device (10)."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/082010.
