MUMBAI, India, April 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517014709 A) filed by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (PUBL), Stockholm, on Feb. 20, for 'quality of experience (qoe) and/or radio access network visible qoe (rvqoe) configuration and reporting for multicast and broadcast service (mbs).'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method, system and apparatus are disclosed. According to some embodiments, a network node (16) is configured to: one of receive from another network node (16) or determine a first level quality of experience, QoE, configuration item for multicast and broadcast service, MBS, and one of receive from the other network node (16) or determine a second level QoE configuration item for the MBS, where the second level QoE configuration is different from the first level QoE configuration item and associated with an application whose data is delivered by the MBS. The network node (16) is configured to indicate, to the wireless device (22), the first level QoE configuration item and second level QoE configuration item for the wireless device (22) to perform an action based on at least one of the first level QoE configuration item or second level QoE configuration item."
