MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517070988 A) filed by Amphenol Canada Corporation, Markham, Canada, on July 25, for 'quadrax electrical cable with wafer insulation displacement contact connection.'
Inventor(s) include Ljubijankic, Zlatan; Jay, Peter Ervin; Patel, Ghanshyam; Marten, Barbara Heather; Gibson, Karen Anne; and Condello, Antonio.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tail end assembly of an electrical connector includes an electrical cable and a coupling assembly. The electrical cable includes a plurality of electrically conductive wires. The coupling assembly defines an internal spacing and is coupled to the electrical cable such that the electrically conductive wires extend through the internal spacing. The coupling assembly is configured to detachably couple the tail end assembly to the electrical connector."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/050536.
